Maintenance Supervisor

  • UGL are seeking interest from Supervisor's to join the Fuels & Energy Business. As part of the portfolio, this position will be working on a secured contract with a major oil and gas operator onsite in Newcastle, NSW.

About the role


The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for management of a multi-discipline blue-collar labour (Direct and Sub-Contractor) within their assigned scope of work or work area.

This position is to ensure that work is completed in a safe and efficient manner that meets the quality and schedule requirements as stipulated within the agreed maintenance plan.


  • The Maintenance Supervisor is to ensure that UGL delivers a highquality service to our Client's and provides supervision and coordination as assigned by the Superintendent / Regional Program Manager/Maintenance Planner.

About you
To be considered for the role the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Trade qualification as an Electrician, Instrumentation Technician, Mechanical Fitter or Boiler Maker
  • Minimum 10 years' experience performing similar industry
  • Significant experience managing and leading teams
  • Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision making and negotiating skills
  • Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
  • Basic to midlevel skills in computers: MS Word, Excel
