Job Description:

Our Royal Caninteam is currently in search of a skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance department in a critical period. If you are someone who picks up new concepts quickly and enjoys fostering connections with others, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.

Working closely with the Financial Operations Managerand utilizing automated business systems, the Accounts Receivable Officer will operate within the finance team framework. This role primarily involves data analysis, including assessing credit holds, reconciling accounts (especially those of key clients), chasing overdue accounts, and handling various general accounting tasks.

As the main point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, you will establish solid relationships with Royal Caninaccount managers and maintain regular communication to ensure swift resolution of customer queries.

What will your main duties entail?
  • Track and allocate incoming payments
  • Monitor customer accounts for outstanding payments, delays, or discrepancies
  • Pursue overdue accounts via phone, email, or written correspondence when required
  • Investigate and resolve customer account issues, communicating solutions
  • Assist in Master Data Maintenance, creating and managing customer and vendor master data
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and send out monthly statements
  • Supervise, trigger, and implement approved changes to credit limits
  • Support the Financial Operations Manager in AR forecasting

Please take note: this role is on a 12-month contract

What qualifications are we seeking?
  • Prior experience in an accounts receivable position
  • Team-oriented individual with strong collaboration abilities
  • Preferably holds a finance-related tertiary qualification (not obligatory)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end accounts receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
  • Proven hands-on experience with modular accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Navision
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
