About the position

The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for providing HR generalist advice and services to employees across our organisation. The HR team mentors and supports leaders in the provision of excellence in people management, facilitating continuous improvement and enabling cultural change. The team collaborates across specialisations to ensure the timely delivery of programs of work, whilst supporting each other to get the job done.

This Human Resources Advisor is responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining a high level of trust with the stakeholders across the business
  • Proactively managing talent to support a mobile, competent and flexible workforce through developing and delivering effective workplace practices aligned with organisation objectives and legislative/regulatory requirements
  • Identify, assess and encourage positive workplace values and behaviours that foster an engaged, inclusive and high performing workforce
  • Delivery of customer focused HR services to optimise the employment life cycle experience at an individual and organisational level

Essential

  • A passion for supporting employees to be their best at work 
  • A demonstrated ability to identify rand mitigate risks while exercising sound judgement
  • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An excellent communicator with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining business relationships across entry to senior management levels
  • A consultative, solutions driven and collaborative approach to 
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant employment legislation
  • A growth mindset, with a willingness to identify opportunities for improvement 

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position you must be:

  • An Australian Citizen
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance (Baseline)

The successful candidate MUST be able to obtain clearance prior to commencement.
