Why your Role Matters
 As Program Change Lead – HCD for the HR Strategic Projects space, you will play a strategic role in developing and delivering change management strategies that ensure employee needs are at the forefront of our ambitious transformation agenda.

With a proven capacity to balance organisation-wide priorities with the development of robust, people-focused solutions, you will provide change management expertise, coaching, and advice across our various strategic HR projects to drive the successful implementation and adoption of human-centric people changes, procedures, and processes.

Playing a key strategic and advisory and leadership role across HR Projects, you will have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with project stakeholders, senior business leaders, and end-users to facilitate seamless transitions and ensure project benefits are fully realised and embedded in new business-as-usual practices.
You day to day will include:

Leading the development, delivery and management of key change programs, designing strategies and communications, ensuring employee needs are at the forefront:
This includes an initial focus on leading wage compliance and HR compliance tools programs, developing comprehensive change management strategy and roadmaps and overseeing business readiness Developing a holistic high quality HCD Change Management Strategy for HR needs: strong stakeholder management, forward thinking risk mitigation/management, training, and successful change execution delivery. Identifying and mitigating potential challenges, risks, and resistance points related to project implementation. Becoming a trusted partner across change matters, supporting senior leaders in project sponsor roles and provide strategic advice and support across the HR space to support of the transition to business-as-usual operations.

The role reports to the Director, HR Strategic Projects, ensuring an integrated approach to the implementation of employee-centric people change procedures and processes with university-wide impact.

Who you are:  We’re seeking an experienced Change Lead to address complex people issues while driving timely, high-quality delivery of initiatives. Your strong background in heading large-scale change initiatives and expertise in consulting and influencing will drive quality outcomes from start to finish:

A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, or related field with subsequent extensive relevant experience or equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and/or experience. Extensive experience as a Change Manager using Human Centred Design or in a similar change management role. Strong understanding of change management methodologies, tools, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, partners and stakeholders both internal and external. Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across multi-function teams.
