About the Role

The Strategic HR Partner plays a key role as a trusted advisor to leadership and management, aligning people practices with business goals. They serve as a strategic partner to leadership and management, driving business outcomes through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution: Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal compliance.
  • People Services and Solutions: Implement and oversee People & Culture services, solutions, and programs to enhance performance, productivity, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Workforce Analytics and Insights: Analyze People data to provide insights on workforce trends, turnover, and key indicators, driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Manage risk related to employee relations, compliance, and organizational practices, acting as an escalation point for complex issues.
  • Manager and Team Development: Support and develop managers and teams, aligning People initiatives with business strategy and values.
  • Group Projects and Change Initiatives: Contribute to group projects and change initiatives, ensuring the implementation of HR best practices and quality standards.
About You

This role would be suitable for a candidate with significant experience within a HR Generalist or Business Partnering position, with a keen and invested interest in Employee Relations.

  • HR Knowledge and Experience: Proven knowledge of HR policies, practices, generalist HR trends, best practices, and current employment legislation, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with modern developments in the field.
  • Relationship Building and Communication: Ability to build and manage relationships, influence senior management, and effectively communicate across multiple channels.
  • Coaching and Development: A coaching qualification and or experience of coaching techniques throughout all activities to facilitate development of stakeholders would be highly desirable.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship: Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
