About the Company
Davidson Technology currently have an exciting opportunity that has arisen with one of our valued government organisation, Queensland Health.
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager contracting until end of June 2025 with possible extensions. This role is based in Bowen Hills whereby being in office 3-4 days/week is expected.
About the Role
As the Project Manager, you will be leading and managing a dedicated delivery team for a newly established project to implement foreign exchange procurement and payment solutions within the Procurement & Supply Chain Optimisation (P&SCO) Portfolio. You will be overseeing the project lifecycle from detailed planning to project closure to deliver outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop project plans and apply appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
Manage the successful delivery of the FX Procurement and Payment Solutions project, its deliverables and outcomes in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
Strategically engage and maintain strong professional partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in the development of technical solutions, frameworks and other outputs to drive engagement and positive outcomes.
Proactively monitor, control and drive performance against project plans, deliverables and schedules.
Oversee the preparation of all program reporting documentation, including status reports, executive reports and Board reports, and other ad-hoc reporting
About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Project management experience implementing S/4HANA modules or enterprise solution
Evidenced background in successfully managing and delivering complex and large-scale software implementation, business improvement and change management projects.
Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
Ability to identify and drive process improvement by using evidence to demonstrate the need for change, as well as the being able to communicate how change may be enacted.
Proven issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide expert strategic advice to complex issues
Understanding and experience in finance system solutions will be highly regarded
The Benefits
This role offers you a daily rate of up to $1030 per day+ Superannuation, an initial 7-month contract with potential extension, and flexible working arrangements with their office based in Bowen Hills.
