We need your experience in Major Projects Administration to help deliver this flagship QLD energy infrastructure project.

As a  Project Administrator,  you’ll provide major project administration assistance and help develop clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:

You will deliver effective and accurate project data and information processing support. You will assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of processes to ensure all project activities are carried out in accordance with relevant procedures and guidelines. You deliver timely and quality administrative services tailored to the division’s needs, including tasks such as travel arrangements, meeting coordination, invoice handling and information proofreading. You will provide project administration support to our project team, facilitating the achievement of key project milestones.

In this role, your success will be driven by your ability to solve project delivery issues, prioritising safety, quality and efficiency, while maintaining accurate and organised project documentation.

The community you will join

The Project Administrator role will be based in our CopperString project office in Bowen Hills.  CopperString 2032 is the largest ever economic development project in North Queensland, and one of the largest expansions to the power grid in Australia. The CopperString project will increase the transmission capacity to 500kV and build 840 kilometres of transmission line from just south of Townsville in the Burdekin region to Mount Isa. This project will further unlock the renewable energy potential of this region. 

Your expertise

You will have knowledge and experience in administration support in a project management environment in the Electricity Supply Industry or similar technical environment, supported by:

Certificate or higher level of qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management or Financial Administration, or ideally an Associate Diploma or equivalent experience. Advanced skills in the use of business systems such as SAP, Microsoft Office and Objective.

 
We’d also love you to have:

Showcase a high level of reporting and analytical abilities, including the capacity to extract and analyse data from a range of business systems. The ability to self-manage and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
