About the opportunity 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Talent professional to join our award-winning Talent Attraction & Mobility team and build a career with one of Australia’s top employers. 

Working alongside the broader Talent Attraction (TA), L&D, Payroll, People Services and local operational teams, you will lead a portfolio of work and deliver on key milestones aligned to our enterprise strategy.  

This specific Talent Attraction Consultant position will focus on delivering recruitment solutions within our Network Operations team, while also gaining exposure across all business units, including Transport, Retail and supporting senior level recruitment where needed.  

Based in NSW so you can build relationships with your stakeholders face to face, you will make a significant impact in partnering with hiring leaders to understand their needs, determine sourcing channels and methods, develop advertising, manage and screen applicants and make recommendations.

What you’ll deliver with us 

Reporting into our Talent Acquisition Manager - Deliveries, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment for high-volume award level roles for our Deliveries division. 

You’ll also:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for award level roles
  • Support with a range of TA projects including the recruitment for campaigns, programs of work and band level recruitment 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in the recruitment and candidate management process, to provide a seamless recruitment experience for candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders 
  • Partner with leaders and HR Business Partners, providing relevant advice and market insights. 
  • Implement diverse sourcing strategies to source candidates for hard-to-fill roles, including providing hands-on support to diverse candidate groups 
  • Influence hiring managers to improve the candidate experience through best practice recruitment experiences 

About you 

You’re an experienced volume recruitment or talent acquisition professional who has a passion for creating high quality and meaningful candidate and hiring manager experiences. You will thrive on solving complex recruitment and business problems and thinking creatively about attraction strategies in a competitive market. 

What are we looking for? 

  • Well demonstrated experience, performance and capability as a volume Talent Acquisition Consultant/Business Partner, recruiting end to end, external talent in a TA function or Recruitment agency environment 
  • Ideally come from a background recruiting blue collar roles 
  • Proven track record of excellent stakeholder management skills, including strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills 
  • Ability to adapt and recruit across different divisions, initiatives and role types as required 
  • A demonstrated track record in proactively and innovatively sourcing external talent 
  • Demonstrated track record of engaging in a positive and constructive way with team initiatives and requests to support other teams 
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing relationships with leaders  
  • Demonstrated resilience and drive when working on hard to fill roles in a challenging market.
