About You :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Services Management, or related field.
Position Summary :
The Practice Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the practice, helping to ensure the achievement of practice goals including maximising profits and consultation conversion rates. With strong leadership skills, the role will support the development of team members and facilitating the productive implementation of marketing, people, and operational strategies to help drive increased patronage, patient satisfaction, and operational success.
Key Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a healthcare setting, preferably in healthcare.Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.Proven leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibility :
Operational Management:Oversee and perform daily operations of the practice to ensure smooth functioning.Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Manage appointment scheduling to optimise time allocation and patient expectations.Financial Management:Manage practice finances, including budgeting, financial analysis, and expense management.Monitor and report on financial performance, ensuring the practice meets financial targets.Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, IAS, and superannuation payments.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor the team, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.Coordinate staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing professional development.Customer Service:Ensure excellence in customer service, exceeding patient expectations.Handle patient complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism.Promote practice services and products, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.Marketing and Business Development:Develop and implement local area marketing strategies to enhance practice visibility and attract new clients.Manage the practice’s online presence, including website, social media, and digital marketing.Identify opportunities for business growth and communicate with the Owner.Network effectively with referrers (eg GP clinics) and potential referrers. Quality Assurance:Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure the practice adheres to clinical guidelines.Coordinate the practice recall system and customer feedback processes.Ensure equipment maintenance and safety standards are met.
