Our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for:

• Effective operation and management of the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS)
• Partnerships for integration of services to provide a seamless continuum of high-quality care to the community
• An evolving inclusive culture that is aligned to organisational values
• Provision of advice and recommendations to the Board of Directors with respect to all activities

The position:

In this strategic management role, you will lead a high-performing, complex, healthcare organisation that was a finalist in the Premier's Medium Health Service of the Year. You will provide values driven leadership and develop and maintain a positive and just culture which is innovative, cost effective and responsive to community needs, under the direction of the Board of Directors

The successful candidate will be accountable to the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Board of Directors for the overall performance of BRHS, while simultaneously delivering the 2022 – 2026 strategic goals

Your leadership style must align with our staff-developed Principles of Care including Quality, Integrity, Communication and Kindness in the achievement of our mission to provide quality health and well-being services that deliver the best possible health outcomes to our community

The Organisation:

BRHS provides a comprehensive array of healthcare to the East Gippsland community. BRHS has a workforce of approximately 950 staff and with recently embedded Strategic, Service and Master Plans, this is an evolving time for the organisation providing great opportunity for change, innovation and service development

Key requirements:

• Appropriate tertiary and post-graduate qualifications including evidence of a personal and professional commitment to the application of learnings
• At least 5 years' significant senior executive management and demonstrated knowledge, expertise and experience in all areas of health and people management practices
• A dynamic leader with the proven ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation
