About You :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Services Management, or a related field.
Position Summary :
The Practice Director will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring the achievement of practice goals, including maximising profits and consultation conversion rates. This role requires strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement marketing, people, and operational strategies to drive increased patronage, patient satisfaction, and operational success.
Key Requirements :
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within a healthcare setting, preferably in healthcare.Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.Proven leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities :
- Operational Management: Oversee and perform daily operations of the practice to ensure smooth functioning.Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and industry regulations.Manage appointment scheduling to optimise time allocation and patient expectations.
- Financial Management: Manage practice finances, including budgeting, financial analysis, and expense management.Monitor and report on financial performance, ensuring the practice meets financial targets.Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, IAS, and superannuation payments.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the team, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.Coordinate staff recruitment, induction, and ongoing professional development.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellence in customer service, exceeding patient expectations.Handle patient complaints and issues with empathy and professionalism.Promote practice services and products, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Marketing and Business Development: Develop and implement local area marketing strategies to enhance practice visibility and attract new clients.Manage the practice's online presence, including website, social media, and digital marketing.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure the practice adheres to clinical guidelines.Coordinate the practice recall system and customer feedback processes.Ensure equipment maintenance and safety standards are met.
