Join the passionate team at L'Antica Trattoria, a renowned Italian restaurant in Mount Lawley 6050, as a full-time Chef. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating and executing exceptional dishes that showcase the finest local and seasonal ingredients. Your role will be integral to maintaining the high culinary standards that have earned L'Antica Trattoria its stellar reputation.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Italian dishes to the highest standard
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine the menu, ensuring it reflects the latest food trends and customer preferences
  • Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene and health regulations
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff
  • Participate in menu tastings and provide feedback to refine and improve dishes

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Chef in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant environment
  • Relevant qualification - Advance Diploma of Hospitality Mangement is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and a passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
  • Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
  • Creativity and flair in presenting and plating dishes
