THE JOB

A great opportunity for a Breakfast Chef who wants to join a busy team focused on all things local This casual breakfast chef role will require early starts with availability Monday through Sunday, and part-time or full-time available.

We are looking for a hands-on chef who is self-motivated, reliable, and a team player. Ensuring food is delivered to an exceptional standard and within meal wait KPIs. 

• Help oversee multiple kitchen operations reporting directly to the Head Chef
• Deliver the customer's high expectation of a premium experience
• Take responsibility for your work and have the skills and versatility to work across all stations
• Maintain an overall knowledge and passion for all things food
  
• Observation of and implementation of allergy awareness controls
• A sound understanding of cost monitoring, presentation, and portion control

• Adhere to all relevant health and safety and food safety standards

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Western commercial kitchen 
• Trade Qualified Chef (preferred)
• Team player and able to work autonomously and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
• Prior experience in a high paced & high-quality Kitchen
• Excellent and Innovative culinary skills
• Be motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
• Solid knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Experience scheduling, managing, and training kitchen staff
• Have the ability to work under pressure
