Your Role: 

  • Manage the daily operations of the help desk, ensuring efficient and effective support for all internal IT issues related to MS365 and devices. 
  • Develop, implement, and refine help desk processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction. Maintain comprehensive documentation for troubleshooting, processes, and solutions to common issues. 
  • Provide technical leadership for supporting and managing the Microsoft 365 environment and devices. 
  • Perform initial setup and configuration of MS365, including Intune enrolment, security and compliance setup, permissions configuration, Microsoft Defender configuration, data retention, and backup. 
  • Train and mentor help desk staff. 

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in the field. 
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas: 
  • Core collaboration services in Office 365 including: 
  1. Exchange Online Mailbox Management 
  2. Exchange Online Protection 
  3. Microsoft Teams 
  4. SharePoint Online 
  5. OneDrive for Business 
  6. Email security and archiving 
  • Core Azure AD (Entra) identity management and authentication, and related objects including: 
  1. Users 
  2. Traditional Groups (Security, Distribution) 
  3. Office 365 Groups 
  4. Device management via Intune 
  5. Guest Users (External Users) 
  6. SSPR 
  7. Azure MFA 
  • Core Microsoft security and compliance solutions, including: 
  1. Information protection 
  2. Data loss prevention 
  3. Data lifecycle and records management 
  4. Investigating data and activities 
  5. Threat management 
  6. Auditing and reporting 
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Administrator Expert 
  • Other Microsoft Certifications highly regarded:  
  1. Identity and Access Administrator Associate 
  2. Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate 
  3. Security Operations Analyst Associate 
  4. Azure Security Engineer Associate 
  5. Azure Administrator Associate 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure 
  • Strong intra-team and communication skills required
