About the role:

AGL is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic Brand team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping AGL’s presence across customer-facing social media channels, ensuring that every interaction reflects our brand’s voice, values, and commitment to exceptional customer experiences.

What you can expect in the role:

  • with the social media lead to deliver on strategy and channel-specific plans, publish posts, and drive positive community engagement.
  • Use social media platforms (Sprinklr, Khoros) to moderate comments efficiently, foster trust among followers, and enhance community sentiment.
  • Craft strategic and personalized responses for FAQs, comments, and customer interactions, ensuring alignment with AGL’s brand voice.
  • Provide best-in-class service while maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and product accuracy standards, managing brand reputation effectively.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Corporate Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Service to surface relevant content, address queries, and share insights for sales and retention opportunities.
  • Support campaign performance reviews, analyze social media metrics, and provide insights on trends, issues, and opportunities to improve AGL’s reputation.

What we would like to see you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in social media management or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of platforms (Meta, TikTok, Sprinklr) and experience in implementing content strategies and moderation processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to craft engaging, personalized content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • A strong understanding of brand voice and reputational considerations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in analyzing social media performance metrics and generating actionable insights.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
