Our Customer Success team relentlessly focuses on building sustainable relationships with our clients, understanding their businesses, and ensuring they can create meaningful Enterprise value with our products and services. Our ideal candidate has impeccable relationship skills, a curious mind, and drive to make our client experience as seamless and valuable as possible.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Customer Success Manager (Analytics) to work for DataCO. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the analytics support for key accounts in our growing customer base. You will also play a key role in gathering feedback and new requirements to inform future development of our products and platform. This position may require travel to various sites as needed to support our projects and clients.
Hours of Work: This is a full-time role where the incumbent with be expected to work at least 38hrs/week
About You
You are passionate about working on projects that make a difference to customers. You have analytical skills and are not afraid to get into the detail, but are also relationship-driven and thrive of working with people. You will be someone who is self-driven, loves learning new things, is comfortable with change, can think outside the box, and is someone that wants to work in a dynamic, fun, fast-paced start-up environment.
Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements, creating a clear vision for value delivery.
- Supporting the generation of client insights from available data on platform, as well as general product support use of product with clients
- Develop and deliver user support documentation, conduct onboarding sessions, and provide ongoing training to empower clients.
- Establish and maintain client relationships, serving as the main point of contact and providing analytics-driven guidance for data-informed decision-making.
- Identifying and documenting new business requirements from clients, and develop detailed functional specifications for the engineering team.
- Support project management for the delivery of client-specific customizations, ensuring project objectives align with client needs and platform capabilities.
- Prioritize data security and implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard client information.
- Support development and delivery of customer success processes
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in IT, Business Information Technology, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in an IT Business Analyst or related role; experience in customer insights or marketing analytics is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong in data analysis tools (e.g., R, SQL, Python) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in sectors like retail, telecommunications, or finance with an understanding of customer strategy frameworks.
Skills And Experience For Success
- Experience working with customers or stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements
- Specific industry experiences relating to B2C products, such as retail, telecommunications, financial services or travel.
- Strong understanding of marketing or customer strategy frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication

- Remote First: We have a fully distributed team across Australia, between Sydney, Melbourne, Tasmania, Central Coast and Byron Bay. We have office space available within Sydney and Melbourne if required, and aim to come together once a quarter to work together and plan our ongoing development.
