ANZ is embarking on an ambitious and exciting program of work – the migration of our customers to our Digital proposition, ANZ Plus. Reporting to the Migration Strategy Lead, you will work in partnership with external advisors, migration subject matter experts, delivery and product teams to help define the strategic direction of the Customer Migration portfolio.

What will your day look like
Your key accountabilities will include:
Lead individual workstreams within Migration Strategy Team, partnering internal SMEs to develop hypotheses, drive problem solving progress through a structured workplan and communication recommended options to stakeholders Conduct analysis to define strategic choices and key value drivers related to migration and provide insights into the relative benefits and costs of each option Identify the risks and implications - customer, commercial, organisational, technology and regulatory - of these strategic choices to inform trade-offs decisions Facilitate the team’s access to people, data, knowledge, and expertise Leverage strong stakeholder relationships across the bank to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to progressing our strategic planning within deadlines Provide a transparent reporting of progress against agreed objectives, being clear on any action required to course-correct Support Customer Migration portfolio maintain momentum and seek timely decisions on key issues (including timely escalations, as required), ensuring accountability for action items and deadlines Communicate frequently with key stakeholders on reporting cadence and requirements (e.g. governance committees and reporting), including written communications (presentations and written memorandums to promote alignment) Develop strong stakeholder relationships (within ANZ including with senior/executive stakeholders) and maintain effective communication channels to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to successWhat will you bring?

Your toolkit
Problem solving & analysis: Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of customer, bank and industry data to deliver insights to resolve strategic questions Financial Services Knowledge/Expertise – Background in Retail and/or Commercial banking, Digital banking/banking technology, merger and acquisition environments is preferable. Creative thinking: Strong “outside the box” thinking to identify innovative solutions, with a commercial, creative, data-driven mindset to formulate market leading strategies and design actionable initiatives Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to draft structured and compelling presentations and written memo’s that articulate all aspects of strategy decision making (rationale, objectives, positioning, options, recommendations) Relationship management: Ability to build relationships within your functional domain that engage, influence, and align stakeholders at all levels of the organisation Previous Strategy experience: Demonstrated experience in Strategy Consulting roles (e.g. MBB or similar), or in-house Strategy roles, ideally in Financial Services.
