About this role

The purpose of this 12-month parental leave position, located in Melbourne, is to collaborate with and provide guidance to our Audit team on all aspects related to people and culture. In the capacity of P&C Business Partner, you will have a close working relationship with the Audit leadership team and be instrumental in fostering team development and achievement by supplying insights aimed at creating adept, highly efficient teams. Additionally, you will be an active participant in a national People & Culture team known for its high performance and innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of all strategic P&C initiatives with a focus on talent management, culture change, leadership development, diversity, and process improvement
  • Manage the delivery of all core P&C processes such as bi-annual performance and reward reviews, talent reviews, annual student recruitment, lateral hire recruitment and L&D
  • Support Partners and their teams across a range of strategic and operational P&C initiatives to create high levels of employee engagement, performance and business results
  • Build strong relationships with your clients, peers and team and
  • Engage with senior leaders and quickly build credibility but equally are able to challenge and shift ideas and work collaboratively to deliver solutions with impact your team and client group
  • Work independently and deliver to agreed deadlines with a results driven approach

Skills & experience

  • Strong generalist skills and a deep understanding of core P&C specialisations such as talent acquisition, talent development, talent management and employee relations
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and/or a relevant Business discipline
  • Experience in a P&C Business Partner role, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Passion for enhancing collaboration and a constructive culture
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
