**How you can help make a better world of work**

You are an ESOP expert and the clear owner of all ESOP and financial compliance processes (end-to-end) and are delivering related financial information that is required by the business, external parties and the Finance Team. You will identify improvements to optimise processes and build a growth strategy to match the evolving needs of the team and business, whilst also determining resourcing or specialist needs to support the stream’s evolution.

You’ll collaborate closely across the team and General Counsel to ensure that the team understands your requirements from them, that they have visibility of your work streams and priorities and you use your knowledge to amplify others’ skills.

As part of this team of amazing humans,
- You will_
- Own the “ESOP Knowledge management” for all documentation of charter, process and standard operating procedures for Culture Amp’s ESOP program
- Own Board reporting for all ESOP and financial compliance matters
- Assist the Company Secretary in management of Culture Amp’s ESOP, engaging relevant stakeholders and advisers
- Own primary responsibility for managing the ESOP program on ‘Shareworks by Morgan Stanley’ platform, and signalling any gaps or risks
- Own primary contact for all employee queries relating to ESOP and Sharworks
- Own Culture Amp’s financial and tax Compliance Calendar, ensuring maintenance, management and engagement with all relevant stakeholders
- Own compliance arrangements and matters across Finance, liaising with internal stakeholders to achieve required standards
- Partner closely with leadership across the organisation; specifically across Finance, Legal, Total Rewards and Risk teams, to ensure understanding of practice, team and individual finance compliance requirements and obligations
- Maintain and develop close partnership between Finance and Legal to ensure finance related compliance matters are identified, monitored, managed and resolved in accordance with the risk management procedure
- Work with the Company Secretary and Risk to manage the Company’s insurance arrangements, including renewals, liaising with key advisers and insurance brokers and is accountable for signalling any gaps or risks
- Drive the preparation of responses to ad hoc financial compliance activities required of the company such as bank debt collateral, workers compensation insurance and internal audit projects, and is accountable for signalling any gaps or risks.
- Be responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing, annual financial compliance training programs (alongside existing Legal, Security, P&E training programs) on relevant financial regulatory and compliance topics
- Work with internal contributors and external advisors, where necessary, to provide business advice concerning the financial compliance implications on specific transactions
- Contribute to Finance Team culture. Close collaboration with peers, sharing knowledge and focus on team finance goals as well as individual goals
- You have_
- 8 years+ of working in related roles with focus on controls, risk management and compliance
- Prior experience in multi-jurisdictional employee share option schemes (Australia as must-have, global as preferred)
- Proven ability to self learn new jurisdiction requirements and communicate those to relevant stakeholders
- Experience contributing to the development of a risk model
- Ability to build, communicate and evolve effective controls that ensure reliability of financial information and protect assets
