Find a career that matters and lasts
We are looking for experienced Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to support the delivery of our critical Major Projects portfolio. This will include some of largest transmission projects in Australia in size, scope, value and complexity supporting exciting renewable energy projects in Queensland.
- In this important role you will develop and lead a high performing project team in the successful management, construction and delivery of some our largest critical high voltage infrastructure projects
- You will effectively manage the development and end- to- end delivery of projects under our Major Projects portfolio; enabling efficiencies between projects and optimizing our project delivery.
- You will operate effectively across different functional groups and stakeholders both internal and external
Your demonstrated project management skills and drive will see the achievement of real business outcomes in a dynamic project delivery environment.
Qualifications:
- Ideally you have a relevant degree level qualification in Engineering and/ or Project Management; or other technical qualifications coupled with significant relevant industry and project management experience
Demonstrated experience and success:
- Management experience on large scale projects or experience managing multiple smaller projects.
- Proven support in the development and delivery of a portfolio of projects in linear infrastructure, transmission line construction, electrical and communications and/or civil works
- Developed, led and managed a project delivery team in a matrix structure, clearly communicating, modelling and driving performance and behavioural expectations
- Developed strong working relationships with key stakeholders and customers including local government
- Developed project scope, estimates, contracts and delivery methodology
- Developed Project Management Plans to ensure successful implementation of the project
- Optimised project delivery to approved budget, time, quality, HSE, CH legislation and infrastructure specification
