RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR

As a member of the People and Culture team, the Recruitment Coordinator drives end-to-end recruitment for roles at mecwacare within their portfolio, ensuring a best practice process to attract quality talent. As part of the Recruitment Team reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner, the role works closely with other team members and participates more broadly with the Human Resources Service Partners and Managers in the attraction.

Essential:

  • Proven ability to manage high-volume recruitment efficiently.
  • Adaptable to dynamic environments, adept at addressing changing priorities.
  • Actively attending Job fair and collaborate with RTOs to establish and maintain candidate pipelines.
  • Track record of planning, managing, and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with HR practices or recruitment environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Innovative problem-solving approach to address challenges
  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Develop recruitment strategies and craft Job descriptions
  • Phone screening and shortlisting candidates
  • Generate recruitment reports to evaluate effectiveness
  • Explore future possibilities to support organizational growth and development
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project and adhoc work as required
  • Upholds integrity and confidentiality standards.

Desirable: 

  •  Previous experience in the Aged / Health Sector.
  • Sound HRIS skills and experience, exposure to E-Recruitment systems (JobAdder) or the likes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
