What are we looking for?

It is an exciting time to join our Melbourne based HR Team and this role plays an important part in providing friendly, accurate and timely support to our internal recruitment function of four team members.

Reporting into the National Recruitment Manager, the role will also support a recruitment specialist and resourcing consultant and work closely with our HR Administrators daily.

A typical day working in this position will see you attending to the following tasks and duties:

- Manage the recruitment inbox
- Conduct phone screens, reference checks and set up interviews
- Preparing all new employee contracts
- Support a great “joining experience” for all new employees to the Firm
- Support the management of the recruitment database (Cornerstone)
- Support continuous improvement across the recruitment and HR function
- All other administrative tasks and project support as required

What you will bring?

You will be a great team player, together with a friendly, easy going nature, along with many of the below attributes:

- Qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar
- Previous experience in a recruitment agency or HR team
- A passion for and proven experience in delivering exceptional client service
- A knack for organising and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- A real passion for recruitment and talent acquisition
- Great technical skills (MS Office suite)
- Prior experience working with systems or database (highly desirable)
- Knowledge or past experience working with Modern Awards or an Enterprise Agreement (highly desirable)
- An ability to build rapport with all levels of staff in a friendly and engaging way
- Ability to show initiative, resilience and a demonstrated drive for learning
