We have a great opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our Mackay Office Team to support them and the broader SLR Asia Pacific (APAC) Office network. As a Global Consultancy with a “One Team” approach, we are looking for a superstar to join us. We provide global consultancy advice and support on a wide range of strategic and site-specific issues to a diverse and growing base of business, regulatory and governmental clients.
Our dynamic Mackay office has a great opportunity for a positive and energetic individual to join the team on a full-time basis. The local team is fun, relaxed, and growing at steady pace.

Using your previous experience, you will assist the Mackay team to deliver comprehensive, professional, and seamless administration and project support. You will be working with a dynamic, diverse, and supportive team in a busy and productive environment. Key Responsibilities Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be self-sufficient, able to work autonomously and be proactive in working with local teams and the wider APAC group.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

Reception/Customer service duties. Proactively managing the daily running of the office, including mail, deliveries, picking up supplies, office orders. Assisting in coordinating events and activities for the office, including client meetings and SLR sponsored industry events. Coordinating vehicle and equipment maintenance/management. Financial management including Purchase Orders, service invoice payments/management, master card payments and reconciliation, expense claims, client invoicing and project assistance. Assisting with office health and safety management, including visitor sign in, office safety checks, maintaining safety equipment ( fire extinguishers) and reporting within the QSR system. Provision of research, data entry, and analytical support to the consultant team. Project Assistance (report formatting, style / templates, letters / contracts / printing), taking minutes for meetings and booking training for staff. Using systems such as Deltek to set up projects for Project Managers. Assistance with deliverables, including MS Word formatting, collation of information, scanning and binding. Travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and assisting with staff expense claims. General support to the Office Manager. Skills and experience
You will need to have a minimum of 5 years' experience in an administration role with proven experience in these areas. Ideally you would have worked within a consulting / professional services environment and a genuine interest in an environmental solutions firm will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will also have: Great organisational skills and multitasking abilities. A positive attitude with an energetic approach to a variety of tasks. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal). Proven experience in administration for medium-large organisations. Willingness to develop skills, capabilities and professional knowledge by keeping up to date with specialist area trends and best practice. Flexibility and creativity in approaching new tasks and learning.
