Tutt Bryant Hire is a top hire company in Australia, with branches spread all over the country. We offer equipment hire to various industries like earthmoving, construction, mining, and industrial services.

We are on the lookout for a seasoned individual to join us as a Senior Hire Controller at our Mackay branch. This role reports to the Branch Manager.

As the Senior Hire Controller, you'll need to collaborate effectively with the team, display strong leadership skills, and maintain business standards to achieve common objectives. Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail are crucial.

This position involves direct customer interaction, a substantial amount of phone communication, and managing various client and internal relationships.

Daily Duties

  • Plan and schedule timely delivery and collection of the hire fleet
  • Generate, maintain, and process hire agreements for equipment
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with maintenance practices and equipment supply
  • Handle inbound calls with a focus on customer service
  • Perform general administration tasks
  • Adhere to company standards and protocols

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in Plant and Equipment, Fleet Allocation, or Procurement roles
  • Attention to detail and strong computer skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to work independently
  • Efficient time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Good knowledge of Mackay and surrounding areas
  • Forklift certification is advantageous
  • Positive attitude and willingness to tackle challenges
