What does the role look like?

In this role, you will oversee the Payroll and Revenue Audit functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with both SkyCity policies and legal requirements. You will play a key role in financial reporting and analysis, assisting our Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. This includes preparing financial statements and ensuring all reports meet internal audit standards and regulatory obligations. You will develop and maintain management reports that provide insights for effective decision-making. Ensuring the accuracy of accounting systems will be critical, as will the preparation of statutory returns in accordance with accounting standards and regulations.

What you will look like?

You  will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and either possess or be working towards a CPA or CA certification. You will have experience managing finance teams and demonstrate strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations. Excellent written and verbal communication, along with interpersonal and relationship-building skills, are essential for success in this role. Experience in a highly regulated industry is highly desirable, as is familiarity with Payroll and Revenue Audit functions.
