**ROLE OUTLINE**:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the FA is accountable for accurate entering of supplier invoices and day to day management of the group's accounts payable and accounts receivable function.
**TYPICAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As part of the Financial Team, the FA is responsible for the day-to-day financial entries of the organisation. The FA performs a wide range of responsibilities. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Entering of supplier invoices and ensuring they are correctly authorised, and job costed correctly
- Exporting/Importing/Entering of debtor invoices to MYOB/Xero and ensuring these reconcile to non-accounting software (Fasttrack 360 /Traffio)
- Allocation of Debtor Payments
- Liaising with Debtors and assisting with queries, chasing overdue payments
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintenance of Accounts Payable system
- Providing commentary and analysis around the groups Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
- Provide support to Finance Manager as required.
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Preparation of monthly financials for review by Finance Manager
**SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES**
Skills and attributes that are most needed for this role include:
- 2+ years experience in a similar position with a proven record of success
- Knowledge and experience in accounting software (MYOB/Xero)
- Proficient in MS suite
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels
- Ability to work in effectively in a busy team environment as well as work independently
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Confident to present results to the Finance Team
- Ability to prioritise tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Ability to work under pressure
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
