About the role

Use your creativity and excellent communication skills to deliver engaging marketing campaigns to support the initiatives of council and the Ipswich community. 

As Marketing Services Officer you will project manage end-to-end campaigns, marketing services workflows and manage external supplier relationships ensuring best value, timeliness, quality and agreed outcomes.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a ‘digital first’ approach to ensure best-practice activity and outcomes
  • Manage the marketing services workflows ensuring resources are utilised within capacity, budget and timeframes
  • Ensure high standards of material output across disciplines of design, creative, copy, channels, media, and digital

About you

You will be a passionate and experienced marketing professional with exceptional communication skills and possess a tertiary qualification in a marketing, communications, visual communication, digital media or similar discipline and/or substantial experience in a marketing and communications service environment.  Delivering client and business outcomes will be important to and with your project management will have the capacity to comprehend, negotiate and influence clients of all levels.  

Due to the nature of this role, you may be required to work outside of core office hours.

About the benefits

This is a full time, fixed term position until April 2025 at level 4 with a salary commencing at $85,139 plus superannuation of up to 12.5%.
