**About the role**
As the Marketing Services Officer you will be responsible for delivering measurable, solution driven and engaging campaigns to support and influence the marketing and communications initiatives of the Ipswich City Council and the City of Ipswich. This includes project managing end-to-end campaigns, managing and marketing services workflow and managing external supplier relationships ensuring best value, timeliness, quality and agreed outcomes.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Develop and implement a ‘digital first’ approach to educate, influence and service Council departments and staff towards best-practice activity and outcomes
- Manage the marketing services workflow ensuring resources are utilised within capacity, budget and timeframes
- Ensure consistently high standards of material output across disciplines of design, creative, copy, channels, media, and digital.

Due to the nature of this role, you may be required to work outside of core office hours.

**About you**
You will be a passionate and experienced marketing professional with exceptional communication skills, ideally you will possess a tertiary qualification in a marketing, communications, visual communication, digital media or similar discipline and / or substantial experience in a marketing and communications service environment including understanding of effective process to deliver client and business outcomes.

To see you succeed in this role you will have demonstrated project management skills together with substantial communication skills with capacity to comprehend, negotiate and influence clients of all levels with a focus. A current Queensland C class driver’s licence is desirable.

**What's on offer?**
This is a full-time permanent role, Level 4-5 with a salary package commencing at $82,260 to $90,018 (depending on skills and experience), plus superannuation of up to 12.25%.

**Salary**: $82,260.00 - $90,018.00 per year
