About the role

The Regional Manager, Accommodation is responsible for leading and managing the effective and efficient operation of a portfolio of accommodation services for clients with a disability within a defined region. The Regional Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of strategic and operational initiatives and projects relating to service growth, and to ensure the consistent application of practices, policies and procedures across all areas of the Accommodation & Respite business. Within a team of Regional Managers, the role is accountable for analysing business practices and performance to identify service gaps and opportunities to ensure that the A&R business is sustainable.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

Overseeing the day to day operations of our Accommodation Supported Independent Living (SIL) servicesAnalysing operational performance to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement and the consistent application of practices across the businessDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to secure access to necessary support, information and resources to effectively manage a portfolio of Accommodation servicesManaging, supporting and mentoring a team of House ManagersManaging the income and expenditure for the Accommodation business to ensure financial targets are successfully achievedClient and stakeholder managementMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of external best practices and legislative/regulatory requirements to ensure compliance across Accommodation service operations.Managing client-wellbeing processes across Accommodation services; conduct audits of sites and individual clients

About you:

Demonstrated leadership or senior leadership experience, managing multiple direct reportsIndustry experience in the disability sector, with past experience supporting the implementation of strategic and operational initiativesNDIA framework and compliance knowledge with an understanding of the considerations and how these relate to Accommodation & Respite servicesExceptional written and oral communication skills, with the proven ability of having managed internal and external stakeholders in past roles
