Everybody knows a JJ’s Truck when they see one . . . our iconic green and gold fleet head out rain or shine for collections in your area.

But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300

We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

THE ROLE

As an Administration Assistant in our Gladstone Depot, you will play an integral role in JJ's relationship with clients, bringing a wealth of experience in delivery of administration support and customer service excellence. 

Both introductory and ongoing training will be provided. 

We are an essential services industry, offering stability to our employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent Monday to Friday role, no weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing monies and general account enquiries 
  • Data entry
  • Sales administration processing
  • Ensure all operational processing requirements are dealt with promptly and in line with processing and procedures requirements 
  • General Administration and office support
  • Processing of documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Answering telephones, meeting customers and responding to email enquiries 
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in a administration similar role - including high volume data entry
  • General accounting knowledge 
  • Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
  • A positive & can do attitude to conquering challenges
  • Proactive nature with a willingness to take on new tasks
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role or a role requiring a similar skill set
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs and the ability to develop proficiency with the in house corporate systems
