In this role you will:

  • Build relationships and collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and establish regular rhythms for engagement.
  • Proactively advise on financial issues and make recommendations to address them.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify opportunities to optimise performance and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Develop meaningful KPIs and dashboards to track performance metrics and support informed decision-making.
  • Build financial models to evaluate certain scenarios and assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives.
  • Implement best practices in financial processes, reporting and analysis to drive organizational excellence and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Group Finance Operations Manager on GL & P&L forecasting.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and Financial Accounting to identify process improvements and contribute to month end processes.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • You have proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role, ideally within manufacturing or agriculture.
  • Your strengths include excellent communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and stakeholder influence across all levels.
  • You have a strong understanding of operational expense (OPEX) trends.
  • You can interpret complex financial data and have strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • You are a strategic thinker with an analytical mindset, taking a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • You are proficient in financial software (ideally Xero) and are an expert user in Excel.
