About the role

  • We are seeking a

Finance Officer to assist the Business Manager with a wide variety of financial and administrative tasks to support the financial operations of the school.

Under the direction of the Business Manager, you will assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and provide support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines.


  • Duties include (but not limited to):_
- receipt of payments
- payments to creditors
- debt collection
- data entry
- purchasing
- office duties

  • Ideally, you will have:_
- previous experience in an accounts or finance role
- you will demonstrate initiative and attention to detail
- be a skillful negotiator who is able to liaise with the school's clients with empathy

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products and D365 is desirable.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.

Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required:5 days/week (38 hours/week)

Salary level, range or hourly rate:School officer Level 4 - $33.52 per hour plus Super
