About the opportunity  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Leader to join one of the best TA teams in Australia

In this key role you will make a significant impact by leading and inspiring a team of experienced TA professionals, partnering closely with business leaders to understand and deliver on strategic goals and initiatives and help shape our direction and innovation as a member of the AP Talent Attraction & Mobility leadership team.

  

What you’ll deliver with us  

In this role you will lead the team who deliver end-to-end recruitment for the Support Office and Technology teams – across permanent, fixed term and contractor hiring. Based at our brand-new, purpose-built office in Swan St, Burnley, this role and team is pivotal in attracting, mobilising and recruiting exceptional talent to ensure we deliver on our 'Post 26' strategy. 

You’ll also   

  • Lead, plan and oversee the delivery of strategic recruitment initiatives and BAU recruitment activity across Support Office & Technology Business Units 
  • Plan and Implement change programs and effectively lead people – with a continuous focus on safety and wellbeing of our people
  • Identify, consult stakeholders and deliver opportunities for change, innovation and improvement across all stages of the recruitment and onboarding process
  • Undertake analysis of recruitment data, provide key insights to business leaders, HR and TA leaders and prepare and deliver updates and presentations to key stakeholders 

About you  

You’re an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who thrives in partnering closely with business leaders, has good commercial acumen, proven ability to analyse and utilise recruitment data and insights and a passion for providing great candidate experiences. 

You will have the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of hiring leaders, attend and present at leadership meetings remotely and onsite, provide input to and help steer the business unit's longer-term talent attraction strategy. You are a supportive leader who connects and brings people together and enables them to develop and achieve great outcomes. 

You’ll also need   

  • Well demonstrated experience, performance and capability as a Talent Acquisition Leader or Senior Recruiter, in a TA function, RPO or Recruitment agency environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to source and use data effectively and commercially in different scenarios 
  • Ability to navigate and achieve outcomes across a large, complex enterprise environment
