Lead Stomal Therapy And Continence Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Stomal Therapy and Continence program. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical leadership and consultation to patients with ostomies, continence issues, and trial of void strategies.
Responsibilities:
Lead the operational and nursing management of Stomal therapy and Continence referrals
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Educate and train healthcare professionals and patients on best practices in ostomy care, continence management, and skin integrity
Manage the nurse-led Stomal Therapy Outpatient Clinic and Trial of Void Clinic
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and research projects related to Trial of Void protocols and continence and ostomy care
Requirements:
At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Approved post-registration nursing qualifications relevant to Stomal Therapy/Continence Nursing
Demonstrated leadership ability working in a multidisciplinary health care team
Comprehensive understanding of clinical governance and current nursing issues
Integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills
Critical thinking and analysis in daily practice
Effective time management skills
Ability to prioritize competing workloads within a complex environment
