Lead Clinical Expert - Ostomy and Continence Care

We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to assume the role of Lead Clinical Expert in our Stomal Therapy and Continence department.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will lead the operational management of our Stomal therapy and Continence clinics, overseeing patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive treatment plans.
  • This position requires expertise in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects related to Trial of Void protocols and continence care.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Management of nurse-led clinics, including Stomal Therapy Outpatient Clinic and Trial of Void Clinic.
  2. Participation in clinical audits and quality improvement projects to drive best practices in ostomy care and continence management.
About You

To be considered for this role, you must possess at least 5 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience and approved post-registration nursing qualifications relevant to Stomal Therapy/Continence Nursing.

  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance and current nursing issues.
