**The opportunity**:
Our retail energy business is at the forefront of low-carbon products, services and technologies, which help Australian households manage their energy bills and emissions.

Due to an internal move, we have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced technology professional with suitable experience to oversee testing and release management for the digital stack in ENGIE Retail. You will report to the head of Digital Services and manage our vendor resources as well as one ENGIE team member, working in a collaborative and friendly team environment at our Freshwater place offices (hybrid).

The Test and Release manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the Engie Retail product suite.

This role will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including senior management, to ensure that quality is upheld throughout all project lifecycles and BAU activities.

Responsibilities will include:

- Assist the enhancement and implementation of QA framework, processes, and governance standards
- Provide direction to teams on QA practices and ensure adherence to QA standards
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality control over vendors' deliverables.
- Drive the effective delivery and operation of testing-related tools to achieve standard outcomes and ROI.
- Conduct regular health checks and quality audits to maintain quality standards.
- Provide leadership and mentoring ensuring individual growth and development to Testing & Release Analyst
- Drive collaboration with project teams to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of testing services to fulfil project objectives, and delivery timelines

About you:

- Familiarity with both automation and manual testing
- Excellent stakeholder management and business engagement skills
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively multiple projects
- A passion for the energy sector and sustainability
