As a strategic business developer, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating commercial relationships and driving growth objectives. You will proactively manage existing client connections, expand your network, and convert new business opportunities from our direct market.
Key Responsibilities
Developing and expanding your professional network to drive business growth
Proactively managing existing client relationships with regular pipeline reviews and estimated deal flows
Maintaining high service standards - preparing and recommending credit submissions in collaboration with colleagues
Attending industry conferences, client functions and sales calls as required
Conducting regular outreach activities and recording lead information in CRM software
Actively managing your pipeline to ensure budget targets are achieved and taking proactive action to address any shortfalls
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in commercial lending or related field
Customer-focused mindset
Proven ability to build strong relationships and networks
Efficiency and speed while maintaining quality
Risk management skills
