Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Strategic Account Business Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic relationships with key customers.
About the Role
As a Strategic Account Business Developer, you will:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions and technical support to customers;
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams;
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategies;
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of three years' experience in sales and account management;
- Prior experience in quoting and estimating;
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain mutually beneficial customer relationships;
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Ability to work successfully autonomously and in a team environment;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Mechanical or trade qualifications desirable but not essential;
- Project management experience highly advantageous;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software preferred.
