**The Opportunity**

As the Development Manager - Strategic Initiatives, you will work with the Head of Strategy Development and Partnerships to provide support, analysis, and development of major initiatives that will drive the next phase of growth

With some ambitious but achievable growth plans, this role will be pivotal to the success of delivering the next generation of food and everyday needs supply chain in Australia.

**The Role**

You will be involved in everything from initiative development, analysis, business modelling and presentation of insights. This role will see you work across all areas of Primary Connect and our Group Retail Ecosystem, with key responsibilities including:

- Ideation of strategic & commercial opportunities
- Create modelling that accurately represents current and alternative strategic options
- Deliver business cases that are accurate, well documented and clearly presented
- Present and communicate meaningful results, recommendations and commentary to appropriate stakeholders
- Develop commercial and operational constructs for new business models taking account of risk and reward elements, asset ownership, rate structures, systems and organisation structure requirements
- Ability to generate clear and concise strategy and analysis presentation material with clear narrative and structure to gain consensus and support for initiatives and changes
- Ability to work independently to generate deliverables and manage time to meet required deadlines

**About you**

In order to be successful in this exciting opportunity we are looking for the following skills and experience:

- Previous supply chain development or optimisation experience
- Previous experience in an analyst role
- Strong financial acumen and understanding
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Be a Strategic thinker with an ability to balance short term and long term outcomes
- Be a problem solver
