**About us**
The Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) is a NSW Government agency with a vision of creating thriving environments, communities and economies in the Hunter and Central Coast regions. As part of NSW Department of Planning and Environment, we manage a range of strategic Government properties in the regions, repurposing them into community enhancing assets.
About the role
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, this role supports the delivery of land development projects, including planning, approvals, delivery, financial control and land disposal.
Critical to the success of this role is the ability to build relationships with targeted stakeholders to deliver partnership opportunities.
The Development Manager is a great communicator and a practical, no-nonsense operator who can manage a range of development activities within one of the most exciting growth regions in the state.
**About you**
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- experience in land development, land disposal, infrastructure projects or similar
- intermediate project management skills and experience
- experience in procuring and managing consultants and contractors
- experience in securing planning approvals and liaising with approval authorities
- experience in managing land transactions
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- a commitment to continual improvement.
Ideally, you will have:
- tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as property management, engineering, land economics, valuation, commerce, construction management, project management or planning
- at least two years' experience in property development
