Overview

We're a boutique property development and construction company based in Sydney, specialising in high-quality multi-residential and mixed-use projects. The Development Manager will steer end-to-end project delivery from feasibility through to completion across both development and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site acquisition, conduct feasibility studies, and support financial modelling and due diligence.
  • Navigate planning and approval processes via the NSW Planning Portal, liaising directly with councils, consultants, and other authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Design & Building Practitioners Act (NSW) throughout design and construction.
  • Coordinate design development, balancing quality, compliance, and budget.
  • Oversee construction delivery, manage budgets, programs, risks, and statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Support sales and marketing strategies, including launch planning and agent engagement.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships: investors, JV partners, government bodies, and community stakeholders.
  • Provide regular, insightful reporting to directors and investors.
What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years' experience in property development or project management, ideally in multi-residential or mixed-use projects.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the NSW Planning Portal and hands-on experience applying the Design & Building Practitioners Act (NSW).
  • Strong financial modelling, feasibility, and commercial skills.
  • Solid understanding of planning, construction methods, and property market dynamics.
  • Excellent communicator, negotiator, and stakeholder manager.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a boutique, fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Property, Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
