**The role**
As our Project Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for sales, through the effective mentorship and development of the sales team.

**The key areas of responsibility are**:

- Mentoring and developing the sales team to achieve the 3-year Business Plan.
- Ensuring the performance and accountability of the sales team; on a daily/weekly basis.
- Champion the documentation of the APS Way of Winning Deals, documenting a repeatable sales process.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the sales team in securing and delivering bespoke B2B solutions across various construction projects across the Industrial, Rail, Mining, Defence, Education and Food sectors.

**To be successful in this role, the requirements are**:

- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately)
- A background in selling turnkey solutions to Tier 1 and 2 Contracting Businesses working in the Australian Construction Industry and looking for that next career move. (At least 10 years of working experience within the construction sector is required)
- Extensive experience within a Project Business which provides design, supply and installation services is essential.
- Ability to lead, build and inspire a high-performing sales team within a project business.
- Technical qualifications or a background in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering is preferred but not essential.
- Experience offering solutions for products/solutions relating to Compressed Air, Oil/Lubrication or Welding Gases is essential.
- The ability to confidently offer design and construction B2B solutions with the goal of winning the business.
- Strategising every opportunity to ensure the best outcome for both the business and the customer.
- The tenacity to deliver on personal and company goals and be accountable for their achievement.
- Ability to prepare and present pricing proposals.
- Ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements with clients.
- Customer service-focused and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using a contemporary CRM platform.
