**About the position**

The Finance Officer - Treasury and Collections role will collect on designated outstanding accounts, maintain good customer relations with Council's internal and external customers, as well as bank reconciliation. This role will focus on treasury and financial tasks relating to fleet in addition to supporting payroll and Accounts Payable function.

**About you**
- Certificate III/IV in Business/Finance &/or 3+ years' experience in a direct customer contact, service, collections or finance environment.
- Basic account principles knowledge with demonstrated ability to reconcile subsidiary ledgers with appointed general ledger number.
- Demonstrated intermediate competence in computer operations including spreadsheets, GIS systems and databases and competence in the use of Microsoft Office Software (or equivalent).
- Previous collections experience (desirable).
- Previous experience in the use of Civica's Authority Software (desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to carry out computerised bank reconciliations (desirable).
- Current NSW Driver's License.
- Demonstrated experience and/or capability to deliver the Job Specific Key Accountabilities (outlined in the Position Description).
- Demonstrated **Developed** key capabilities as defined in the Key Capabilities Table (outlined in the Position Description).

**We offer**
- This is a Parental Leave Term Contract with an anticipated end date of December 2025.
- Full Time, 35 hours per week
- Hourly Rate from $36.6043 to $41.1266 per hour (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation
