**Your day to day**
The Ubika Spa Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming sanctuary for our guests, in which the Spa Therapists are trained to provide spa treatments in a friendly and professional manner to deliver a world class wellness experience that relaxes, rejuvenates, and entices our guests to experience more.. An opportunity to combine your skill and passion for Health and wellness in a leadership role, you will create a strategic plan designed to deliver on key financial targets relating to product sales, treatments and hair appointments through the Day Spa and Hair Salon. - Daily management of the Ubika Day Spa Operation. - Develop and refine the guest journey through the spa and ensure all procedures, standards and systems are completely defined and trained. - Ensure delivery of the highest class wellness, health and beauty experience through timely recruitment and development of Spa Therapists - Ensure on trend treatments and product usage within the Ubika Day Spa. - Create and deliver a strategic plan to elevate the Ubika Brand to meet a stretch budget - Ensure the spa atmosphere, and physical environment, provides a haven of tranquillity and evokes an atmosphere of relaxation and calm. - Monitor local competitors to identify opportunities to develop and improve the Ubika Spa product. - Stay current with global Health, Wellness and Beauty trends. - Work and build relationships within a structured Hotel environment. - Ensure Ubika Day Spa works within the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley operating environment, including cross promotion, marketing and delivery of service to our Guests. - Perform reception and beauty treatments as needed. - Ad-hoc duties - unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done.
**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience in the Beauty and Wellness industry, in both and operational and supervisory capacity (Hair or Beauty qualifications desirable however not necessary) - A passion for the industry and a go getter that is continuously looking to improve service, standards, and treatments with the ability to inspire outstanding performance in the team - A team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise your own workload as well as jump in and help your colleagues as needed - Demonstrated commitment to the Health, Beauty and Wellness industry, - Presentation is key - Flexibility - the ability to work weekends and public holidays as required - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
