Industry Placement Officer

The Industry Placement Officer will coordinate and administer work integrated learning opportunities for students at SIBT and WSU Sydney City Campus. This will involve the development and maintenance of relationships with external organisations and key internal stakeholders. The Industry Placement Officer will work within WSU systems and in collaboration with WSU stakeholders to coordinate and administer work integrated learning opportunities for students such as placements and internships. The Industry Placement Officer will be responsible for ensuring accurate record keeping of placements and providing reporting on placement processes and outcomes. The Industry Placement Officer will support and assist students to access and complete their placements.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of the tertiary education sector.
- Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to consult and liaise with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as individually, to contribute to the development and delivery of strategies aimed at improving student experience.
- Commitment to providing a quality student experience to students with a strong focus on accurate and timely advice
- The ability to create and maintain relationships with a variety of external industry partners.
- Demonstrated ability to organise, develop, promote, facilitate, monitor and evaluate industry placements and related activities.
- Accurate record keeping including initiating Student Placement Agreements with Industry partners & NSW Health Compliance.
- Competency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and willingness and ability to quickly adapt to new computer systems/programs.
