The Opportunity:
We seek an experienced and passionate professional to join our internship placement team as part of our Professional Year Program (PYP). The PYP empowers international graduates from Australian universities with practical job skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for the Australian workforce.
This is a full-time (Monday-Friday) position, based at our Sydney campus.
Key Responsibilities:

Actively develop industry relationships to source genuine host companies for internship placements.

Liaise, manage, and maintain a professional working relationship with existing and new internship host companies.

Ensure Host Companies meet the minimum requirements and remain within the guidelines according to the regulatory bodies.

Ensure Internship placements meet specified deadlines and adhere to audited guidelines and compliance.

Ensure documentary evidence of all steps in the placement process is clear, concise, and saved in the relevant location for audit purposes

Interview and shortlist internship candidates for relevant internship opportunities

Facilitate internship briefing sessions for internship candidates.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful delivery of the internships.

Visit host organisations to monitor the placed interns' progress, and support interns and host companies.

Assist the candidates with employability skills, such as resume writing, interview preparation, professional communication, and job search strategies.

Coordinate regular Intern consultations

Attend Marketing Events (as required)
Qualifications, Skills and/or Experience:
-
Preferably 2 years in a similar role or business development, particularly establishing and managing industry relationships.

Strong sales background is advantageous.
-
Strong IT skills, knowledge and experience is advantageous. If you can understand the IT technical skills the candidates possess it will be easier to align them with a suitable host company.

Excellent customer service skills and experience.

Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organisational and project management skills.

Team player

Proven track record as a person of integrity and reliability.

Ability to prioritise tasks, meet targets and achieve deadlines.

Eligible to work full-time in Australia.

High-level computer literacy and experience using IT systems including Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word Excel, PowerPoint & Teams) and SharePoint.

AXcelerate experience is advantageous.
