Job Opportunity
An experienced and qualified Senior Coordinator Engineering Design is sought to lead the delivery of high-quality stormwater and civil design services that enhance the liveability, safety, and sustainability of our growing city.
This role reports to the Manager Asset Design and is responsible for leading a team in the planning, design, and coordination of major infrastructure projects, with a focus on the North West Growth Area.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Leading a high-performing engineering design team, ensuring all projects meet quality, budget, and time requirements
Overseeing the preparation and authorisation of civil stormwater designs in line with professional standards and legislative obligations
Managing the design program budget, including forecasting and reporting
Preparing strategic plans, technical reports, and policy documents to guide infrastructure outcomes
Engaging and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
Essential Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and NER registration
Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in stormwater design and cost estimation
High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, XP-RAFTS, TUFLOW, and MUSIC
Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Current Class C driver's licence
