We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative stormwater solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with complex engineering systems and have a passion for creating high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise closely with internal teams and external partners on stormwater management projects.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and MUSIC modelling software for design tasks.
  • Maintain specifications and designs adhere to Local/State/federal codes and accepted engineering practices.
  • Ensure effective communication with contractors, engineers, surveyors, and government agencies regarding engineering, surveying, or construction issues.
  • Represent the company professionally at events, conferences, and client sites.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 0–4 years of experience, with at least 2–3 years of engineering design skill experience in AutoCAD and stormwater modelling software.
  • Previous design experience.
  • Experience in stormwater/wastewater projects an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player approach.
  • Ability to understand and follow complex instructions.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to clearly communicate information.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles, preferably applicable to Storm Water Drainage Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with drafting software like AutoCAD and water modelling tools.
