Job Summary:

Layton Services is seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Manager to lead high-impact projects in Central Ohio. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience managing civil construction, excavation, or infrastructure projects and possess excellent organizational and leadership skills.

About the Role:

  • Manage overall project schedules and provide weekly updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead internal and external project meetings to ensure successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Oversee full project lifecycle, from planning to close-out, including procurement, material tracking, vendor coordination, and change order management.
  • Ensure compliance with design specs, client expectations, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Manage project financials, including pay applications, vendor invoicing, and budget tracking.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience managing projects in civil construction, excavation, or infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of pay applications, change orders, and construction documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Procore, Sage, or HeavyJob.
  • OSHA Certification.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
