Design Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced engineering design professional. As the Senior Coordinator of Engineering Design, you will lead the delivery of high-quality stormwater and civil design services to enhance liveability, safety, and sustainability in growing cities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a high-performing engineering design team to meet quality, budget, and time requirements.
- Oversee preparation and authorisation of civil stormwater designs according to professional standards and legislative obligations.
- Manage the design program and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare strategic plans, technical reports, and policy documents to guide infrastructure outcomes.
- Degree in Civil Engineering with Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and NER registration.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in stormwater design and cost estimation.
- High-level proficiency in AutoCAD, 12D, DRAINS, HEC-RAS, XP-RAFTS, TUFLOW, and MUSIC.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Current Class C driver's licence.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills as well as experience in stormwater design and cost estimation.
